2011 Producers Guild Awards nominees

It's not a dream: 'Inception' is one of the films nominated for a Producers Guild Award.

The ten films nominated for the 2011 Producers Guild Awards could very well be the ten films that make up the Oscars’ Best Picture race. They were announced today as follows:

127 HOURS

BLACK SWAN
Producers: Scott Franklin, Mike Medavoy, Brian Oliver

INCEPTION
Producers: Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas

THE FIGHTER
Producers: David Hoberman, Todd Lieberman, Mark Wahlberg

THE KIDS ARE ALL RIGHT
Producers: Gary Gilbert, Jeffrey Levy-Hinte, Celine Rattray

THE KING’S SPEECH
Producers: Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Gareth Unwin

THE SOCIAL NETWORK
Producers: Dana Brunetti, Ceรกn Chaffin, Michael De Luca, Scott Rudin

THE TOWN
Producers: Basil Iwanyk, Graham King

TOY STORY 3
Producer: Darla K. Anderson

TRUE GRIT
Producers: Ethan Coen, Joel Coen, Scott Rudin

Despicable Me, Toy Story 3, and How to Train Your Dragon make up a separate category for producers of animated films. Additionally, the Producers Guild Awards will honor outstanding producers in documentary film and in television.

The winners will be announced on January 22nd at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. Judd Apatow will host the ceremony, which will also honor special award recipients including James Cameron (Milestone Award), Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman (Norman Lear Achievement Award in Television), Scott Rudin
(David O. Selznick Achievement Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures), Laura Ziskin
(Visionary Award), and RealD (Vanguard Award).
