‘Black Swan,’ ‘The King’s Speech,’ and ‘Inception’ are film winners at Art Directors Guild Awards

Black Swan, The King’s Speech, and Inception were recognized for outstanding achievement in art direction at the 15th Annual Art Directors Guild Awards on Saturday night.

The awards were presented to the production designers for each film in three separate categories. Black Swan‘s Therese DePrez won in the Contemporary Film category, Inception‘s Guy Hendrix Dyas in the Fantasy Film category, and The King’s Speech‘s Eve Stewart in the Period Film category.

Winners in television included Dan Bishop for Mad Men (“Public Relations”), Richard Berg for Modern Family (“Halloween”), Robin Wilson King for Secrets in the Wall, Keith Raywood, Eugene Lee, Akira Yoshimura, and N. Joseph DeTullio for Saturday Night Live (“Betty White / Jay-Z”), David Rockwell for the 82nd Annual Academy Awards, and Jesse Benson for Dos Equis (“Ice Fishing”).
