Rain is falling down and flowers are in bloom. It’s the start of spring, AKA the season before the best season of the year — summer! To kick off the month, I wanted to share one of my wardrobe essentials as well as a few things in the entertainment world I’m looking forward to, and a couple of items I want too. Maybe I’ll start doing this every month, yes?!
1. Victoria’s Secret PINK Date Bras
I actually started buying these back in the fall/winter, but they’ve been coming out with so many cute designs and colors lately that I can’t get enough. I really want this black-and-white polka-dotted one! I have quite a few of the push-up bras–I wear a small cup size, and I like having a lot of lift and padding. Bras from the Date Collection are also available in unlined, lightly lined, and triangle, so there’s one for every lady.
2. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
My favorite Avenger is back in one of the most-anticipated sequels of the year! Based on the action-packed trailer alone, I have a feeling this one will be better than the original, and the original was simply fantastic. I’m excited to see how Captain America (Chris Evans) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) team up and the epic battle with the Winter Soldier. All my fangirl feels are just dying to come out already!
3. The Hunter Pence Bobblehead
Hunter Pence is my favorite active player on the San Francisco Giants roster and I was super stoked when I found out he was getting a bobblehead this season. I was even MORE stoked when I saw that it would be him on a scooter! If you would like one of your own, the first 40,000 fans at the Wednesday, April 9th game versus the Arizona Diamondbacks (The second game at AT&T Park this year) will get one, so buy your tickets and line up early!
4. Lana Del Rey
I first listened to Lana Del Rey‘s Born to Die (The Paradise Edition) last summer, which truly resonated with a season that was tumultuous with love, lust, and heartache. Her songs are still in heavy rotation on my iTunes and iPhone to this day, and I was really excited when I found out she would be going on tour this spring/summer. Unfortunately, tickets to her April 18 show in San Francisco sold out within minutes! I’m hoping more tickets are released as the show gets closer so I can finally see her live, plus it would be an epic concert weekend for me with The 1975 show the day before and Ellie Goulding the day after.
5. Mad Men – The Final Season
I’m the worst person ever with catching up on TV shows, so I can’t even explain what I want or think will happen in the conclusion of this show because I still have to catch up with the last season on Netflix! I got into the show in 2011 and I’m so enthralled by the storylines, the drama, and the advertising agency and period settings. It’s going to be crazy to see how the final season unfolds.
What are some of the things you look forward to watching / listening to / buying in April?
