Influenster VoxBox Review: The Jingle VoxBox

Influenster Jingle VoxBox

DISCLOSURE: I received the products described in this post complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster.com.

Aside from Influenster’s extremely generous Keurig VoxBox and life-changing Victoria’s Secret Sport VoxBox, their Jingle VoxBox has been my personal favorite so far. This tiny holiday-themed sampling of goodies contained some of the most wonderful little gifts to get through winter, as well as glamorous cosmetics to prep for those holiday parties. Truthfully, I haven’t had a chance to try everything out yet even after a couple of months. However, I’ve fallen in love with everything else I did get to try out in this VoxBox!

Biscoff Cookies

biscotti

Given that this was the only food item in the box, I naturally made a beeline for this one as soon as I received the VoxBox. These cookies were damn incredible, and I need more of them in my life! They’re crunchy and packed with rich and distinct nutty and cinnamon-like flavors. They’re great to eat both on their own or dipped in coffee. 10 out of 10, would highly recommend.

Hallmark Itty Bittys

spideybitty
This review is for Spider Man, not my kitty.

These Hallmark exclusive items are little stuffed toys of all your favorite characters from well-known franchises like Star Wars, Disney, DC Comics, and much more. They make great pocket-sized gifts as stocking stuffers or paired with bigger goodies. I received Spider Man from one of my favorite franchises, Marvel! Although I thought it was adorable, I already have enough stuffed toys in my life (Am I really 27 years old?). I thought my baby kitty Cortland would appreciate it, but she was more interested in her other toys and often neglected poor Spidey. I later passed it on to my sister’s boyfriend’s dog Shadow, who I’m sure appreciates him so much more.

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream

cetaphil

I forgot which website it was, but I recently saw on my Facebook news feed that even though Cetaphil had some pretty gnarly packaging and product design, their products are some of the most effective on the market. I have to agree that I never really considered Cetaphil for those completely shallow reasons, but you can’t judge a book by its cover (Or a lotion by its jar)! Cetaphil’s Moisturizing Cream is thick, fast-absorbing, and fragrance-free to keep your skin soft all day long. Plus, the small jar makes it so easy to fit Cetaphil in your purse or pocket. I keep mine at my work desk to give my dry hands a healthy boost of moisture.

KISS True Volume Lashes and KISS Strip Lash Adhesive with Aloe

kiss-lashes

Influenster gave me some faux KISS lashes in my first VoxBox a couple of years ago and I didn’t try them out, but since then, I’ve learned to like them a little more. The True Volume lashes are made out of 100% natural hair and are tapered in such a way to make your eyes pop, yet not look too made-up. The accompanying full-sized lash adhesive has a brush applicator and soothing aloe formula to make application simple and hassle-free. I used these for a couple of holiday parties and for Valentine’s Day and felt so glam. They were fun to pair with the NYC City Proof 24 Hr Waterproof Eyeliner!

NYC City Proof 24 Hr Waterproof Eyeliner

I received this eyeliner pencil in Dark Brown and it’s become one of my everyday makeup staples. The liner goes on smooth and dark and really does stay on all day and all night long! We’ll see how the actual pencil holds up though, because I’ve now used it so much that I actually have to sharpen it.

Pure Ice Nail Polish

This is actually one of the products that I haven’t tried yet because I only get gel manicures at salons — never have time to do my own nails at home. But I’m sure I will like this, only because the neutral yet unique shade looks very cool.

Ore-Ida Tater Tots

We received a coupon to redeem for a free Ore-Ida Tater Tots product, but I never bothered to redeem it because 1) I thought it was only for a discounted product until I actually read the text on the coupon yesterday and 2) fried foods and most starches go against the meal plan I’m on, though I guess I’m in the clear now since I broke the rules a while ago. The coupon expires at the end of the month, so I still have time to try out some greasy potato goodness!
